I went to Daniel Brown’s 4th annual Photo Safari today and I’m exhausted. It was a much less stressful affair than last year’s, almost entirely because this year I knew what to expect and how to safari better (i.e., more time planning, less time driving around). Amazingly, my team (consisting of Marc, Christian and myself) placed second out of 10 after two teams lost a bunch of points for disqualified pictures in the detailed tallies. Ben and Jeff finished first by quite a few points.
This year there a special category for posed faceplants which particularly interesting. At one point, I was laying on the floor of the QFC in Lower Queen Anne, pretending to have lost a bag of frozen okra and a tub of “I can’t believe it’s not butter”.
Pictures are here.
