Today I woke up without much of a sore throat at all. My throat still feels kind of funny, but is definitely not painfully sore. The doctor’s office also called this afternoon to inform me that my throat swab came back negative for strep throat, so presumably it was some sort of virus. That means I can stop taking the amoxicillin he started me on yesterday, which is good because it makes my spit taste funny to myself (and presumably others–not that anybody else has been tasting my bodily fluids lately).
