This morning I missed a meeting with my boss’s boss. When will I learn to not schedule meetings on Monday when I always forget about upcoming meetings due to the weekend? Everything got smoothed over though and I’ve added the new appointment to my personal calendar. Plus, the stress and guilt of it all seemed to motivate me to get a lot of work done today.
In the parking lot at work today, I saw something for which I wish I’d had a camera: a Hummer H2 parked across two compact spaces. I would have so been tempted to post said shameful pictures on this site.

Heh, I missed my first skip-level with Dave because I overslept. He didn’t seem too concerned, and it never came back to haunt me, if that makes you feel better.
Ya, Dave came by and everything seems ok. I just really hate not keeping my word more than anything.
Yep, I’ve learned from experience — whenever a morning meeting that I can’t miss gets onto my work calendar, I immediately put it into my personal schedule. The first time I missed an important meeting like this, it was a meeting that I had set up for the morning I got back from a vacation. About 5 or 6 people were on the invite too. (Yeah, ’twas a very stupid mistake.)
