I went back to the optometrist this morning. The old contacts she gave me, just weren’t cutting the mustard. Outside, looking at things far away they were ok, but doing any sort of near work especially in indoor lighting conditions was a problem. My eyes would feel like they kept trying to focus on the computer screen or book without success, which would give me a minor headache. Anyhow, I explained my symptoms to her and she told me it was probably my astigmatism. I just assumed it was pretty minor, but after she gave me some new astigmatism correcting lenses, things are MUCH better. I can actually work at my computer with vision roughly comparable to what I get with my glasses.
