Today was nice, as I actually got out of my apartment on the weekend for a change. Some guys from work (Gernot and Martin) and I went to the Erlebnisbad Calypso for about an hour and a half total. It’s something like a cross between a miniature water park and public pool. They have 4 small slides and a couple of different swimming pools. I really enjoy swimming, but I have difficulty breaking out of my everyday cycle which doesn’t include it. Anyhow, it was a fun change and I got some exercise too.

After that, the three of us went back to Gernot’s and ordered some food from the local pizza place. All in all, a nice day. Unfortunately, I still have to finish my slides for my talk tomorrow at 1pm, but hopefully I won’t stay up too late. The material in them is largely done. Mostly, I need to make the edits Jochen pointed out and finish up some peripheral additions, which mainly consist of adding more pictures and diagrams.
